Intent data for sales teams has gotta be one of the biggest scams ever...

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Intent data for sales teams has gotta be one of the biggest scams ever...

I've asked 6 senior revenue leaders about their ROI from intent data in the last month. Every single leader shared a similar theme:

"It's great in theory. But our reps don't see any measurable increase in meeting booked rates on accounts showing high intent."

And none of them are renewing their 6-7 figure contracts with intent data providers.

So what gives?

Here's my theory:

⛔️ Intent data companies are misrepresenting the effort required

What they say: "We serve up accounts looking for your products/services so your sales team can call in-market buyers."

They make it sound like these are accounts in active buying cycles. They have NO WAY of knowing that.

They're also misrepresenting the coordinated effort required to make intent data work. It's really not built for sales teams. It requires a coordinated effort from the entire GTM team.

Intent data without contact-level insight is worthless to sales

At best, it's a way for marketing to direct air coverage to potential buyers in target accounts.

It's useless for outbound, though.
