These situations leave permanent memories in your brain and body. It makes us do whatever it takes to avoid feeling that again.

And in sales—it makes us seek validation from people.

People who we don’t even know. And that don’t know us or care about us.

Call reluctance is totally normal. It’s human nature to want your buyer's approval.

But here's the trick: don't seek it by leading with how awesome your company or solution is.

Instead, make it about them. Be curious about what they’re working on right now and where they might be having challenges.

The real stuff that every one of their peers is dealing with.

10% of buyers will be *ssholes. Just like our personal lives.

Who gives AF.

Make it your goal every cold call to start a conversation, not to get something from them.
